Opening Remarks by the Director of Land
Transportation, Land Transport Department
The Land Transport Department (LTD) is a statutory government agency under
the Ministry of Communications that spearheads land transport developments in
Brunei Darussalam. Land Transport Department plays a vital role of providing an effective, efficient, safe, reliable and sustainable
transportation of goods and people in Brunei Darussalam, regionally and
internationally.
An integral part of LTD’s role is to support
the initiative of realizing Brunei Darussalam of becoming a Service Hub
within the region by 2024. The demand for better land transportation requires
easy access of relevant information relating to the easy access or flow of
people and goods.
With this responsibility at hand, the Land
Transport Department feels greatly honored and pleased to share up-to-date
